Nantipa Community Fund
A Nantipa-led initiative, this fund supports key initiatives related to education and security in our community.
The Nantipa Community Fund was established in partnership with our community of guests to support the broader Santa Teresa area. Each dollar that a guest donates, is in turn matched by Nantipa Hotel, so that together we can make a difference for this beautiful slice of paradise.
Our fund specifically supports education and security initiatives. For education, we are investing in public schools all throughout the area to ensure that our kids have a brighter future for generations to come. For security, we fund key initiatives and collaborations to make sure that our community is safe for all that visit and/or live here.
The Nantipa Fund was launched in January of 2025. And to date some examples of grants that we have distributed to the community include:
Sponsoring a classroom for the Santa Teresa Elementary School
Supporting the build-out of three classrooms for the Bello Horizonte Elementary School
Supporting the build-out of an English classroom for the Rio Negro Elementary School
Supporting English classes for underserved youth
Supporting electrical work for the Santa Teresa high school
Launching a composting program for the community
