Santa Teresa After School Program Fund

A community-led initiative, the ST After School Program Fund supports children in our community with spaces and activities to learn, play and grow together.

The Santa Teresa After-School Program exists to support children in our community—particularly those from less advantaged backgrounds—while intentionally creating a shared space where all Santa Teresa children can learn, play, and grow together. The program is free of charge for children attending Escuela Santa Teresa, and is open to other children in the community through a donation-based contribution. By removing financial barriers, the program provides dignity, inclusion and social integration for all children.

With after school activities provided Monday through Friday, this program creates a safe, joyful, and structured after-school environment that supports families and equips children with life skills through creativity, movement, collaboration, and play.

From 1:30 – 3:30 Monday–Friday, children arrive and share in a snack time, are led through a group activity, have free or guided play, with each day ending with a closing circle and reflection. This rhythm provides both structure and flexibility, allowing children to learn, connect and decompress after school. The activity program includes diverse themes and topics, ranging from movement and body awareness, life skills & financial literacy, choir & theater, arts & crafts, and dance & rhythm.
