Thank you for supporting the Nicoya Peninsula Foundation. With your support, we have been able to distribute 5 grants in our first six weeks of operation. Here are some grant highlights:
Potable Water, Las Brisas
In a bid to help build local infrastructure, NPF supported the construction of 2 fire hydrants as part of the potable water line that will serve the Barrio Las Brisas community in San Isidro.
Construction at Escuela Florida
NPF helped to cover the construction costs associated with building a new dining hall & reinforcing the roof of Escuela Florida located between Cobano and Tambor.
Composting, Escuela Santa Teresa
Helping children build a better future, NPF funded for the purchase of a composting bin for the Santa Teresa School composting station.
Pet Neutering
NPF supported local pet owners and stray animals in the community by hosting pet neutering campaigns in Cobano and Paquera that helped spay/neuter dozens of cats and dogs. Remaining funding will go towards additional micro-neutering campaigns.
