Supporting our community for a brighter future.
Empowering the Greater Santa Teresa and Cobano District through environmental, infrastructure, and social service projects.
A Foundation Built on Community
Nicoya Peninsula Foundation (NPF) is dedicated to supporting the Greater Santa Teresa/Cobano District area, including Santa Teresa, Malpais, Playa Hermosa, Manzanillo, Montezuma, Tambor, Cabuya, and Cobano.
We believe that by coming together as a community, we can ensure our paradise thrives for generations. Our focus is on funding essential projects in three key areas: Environment, Infrastructure, and Social Services.
Our Focus Areas
-

Environment
Protecting our environment is critical. We address deforestation, water pollution, and biodiversity loss. By funding essential projects, we ensure the Santa Teresa area remains pristine for future generations.
-

Infrastructure
Infrastructure is vital for our community's health and vibrancy. We tackle water scarcity, waste management, roads, garbage solutions, and security. These foundational issues are key to a thriving community.
-

Social Services
Social services are essential for our community's well-being. We offer affordable and accessible support in education, housing, healthcare, daycare, and elder care, ensuring everyone in Santa Teresa has the resources they need.
